Yesterday, the Minnesota State Fair announced that nearly 1.8 million people made it out to the 2015 Great Minnesota Get Together. Here at Bellmont Partners, we have a few numbers we’re proud to share, too.
The fair is an exciting time for us, as we have two clients with a combined three booths: the Midwest Dairy Association, which oversees both the Dairy Goodness Bar in the Dairy Building and the All-You-Can-Drink Milk Stand; and Minnesota Wine Country, which represents eight wineries from across the state, features 13 different wines and hosts 10 wine presentations.
This year, the seven Bellmont Partners team members who worked on the grounds for a combined 26 days secured approximately 380 media mentions. Four of us were even at the opening gates with the local television stations and die-hard fair-goers. Between the Midwest Dairy Association’s 2015 “Flavor of the Fair” Salted Caramel Puff malt and new cheese curds from Redhead Creamery and Minnesota Wine Country’s new Wine Fried Kalettes and Seafood Sliders, we provided more than 550 food samples to media audience members and personalities. We certainly covered a lot of ground – in fact, we walked a combined 283,903 steps as we worked!
At Bellmont Partners, we like to work hard and play hard. When we weren’t helping our clients, we collectively consumed 43 new fair foods. Four of us got our country music fix at the Keith Urban Grandstand show on the first Friday. And, of course, we witnessed iconic sculptor Linda Christensen complete – for her 44th consecutive year – 12 beautiful butter sculptures of Princess Kay and the 11 finalists.
Congratulations, Midwest Dairy Association and Minnesota Wine Country, on another successful Minnesota State Fair!
