Last night Bellmont Partners Account Supervisor Megan Swenson walked away with a 32 Under 32 award from the Advertising Federation Minnesota! Megan is one of 32 winners – from a pool of more than 100 nominees – who were recognized for being “true movers and shakers who are shaping our industry.”
Since joining the agency in 2012, Megan has established herself as one of the state’s top event-PR practitioners. In the Land of 10,000 events, Megan leads media relations during the largest two: #1 Minnesota State Fair promoting multiple clients including Midwest Dairy Association/Princess Kay of the Milky Way; and #2 Uptown Art Fair, leading media relations and social media promoting the thriving art community and Uptown neighborhood.
While Minnesota is at the heart of much of her work, Megan’s knack for event planning, media relations, promotions and social media reaches far beyond the state. Megan leads Bellmont Partners’ support of a series of youth events across nine states through Fuel Up to Play 60, a high-profile partnership between the NFL and our client Midwest Dairy Council. She was up early this morning to catch a flight to Chicago to help implement the final event of the year!
Her exceptional event PR skills have earned multiple award recognitions, including five Classics award wins from the Minnesota chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and a PR News Platinum PR Award, and she was instrumental in Bellmont Partners being named one of two ACE Event Agencies in the country by Ragan’s and PR Daily.
