Congratulations to client Thread Logic for being named the Upsize Business Builder of the Year. Owner Jeff Taxdahl graces the cover of this month’s issue of Upsize magazine, and sat down with editor Beth Ewen for an eight-page interview about the company’s Internet-marketing model.
“Jeff’s solid business plan impressed our judges, making Thread Logic stand out among an impressive field of finalists,” says Ewen. “He is the 2010 Upsize Business Builder of the Year, selected for his smart move to electronic commerce after two years in business, his skillful execution of the strategy that led to 20 percent average growth in each of the past four years, and his advice that other small-business owners can use to expand their own companies.”
Client Spyglass Creative was named a finalist in this year’s competition, and is also featured in the issue. CEO Molly Rice talks about the Minneapolis branding agency’s unique Loring Park space, and how its no-boundaries philosophy (there are no doors, including on the conference room) reflects — and influences — the results Spyglass delivers for its clients.
“It’s a place where people want to work,” Rice says. “It’s a gallery for creative thought. It invites a massive amount of collaboration.”
