UPPO montage larger resized - half sizeFor more than 20 years, the Unclaimed Property Professionals Association (UPPO) has been the only education and advocacy organization focused exclusively on unclaimed property holders’ rights and responsibilities. With a diverse membership representing dozens of different disciplines and industries, marketing to prospective members has always been challenging for UPPO. Providing consistently valuable and current communication and resources to existing members, while communicating the value of membership to prospective members, was a critical priority when Bellmont Partners began working with UPPO.

Bellmont Partners initiated a comprehensive digital audit and recommended modernizing and reorganizing the website, launching a Twitter account and starting a blog. After creating a content strategy and calendar, Bellmont Partners helped UPPO implement these recommendations. The new blog – UPPO Focus – became a significant source of traffic for the re-vamped website, while the Twitter feed drew highly targeted followers relevant to the organization. Bellmont Partners also helped UPPO promote its annual conference in 2013 and 2014, resulting in record-high registrations and attendees. While attending the 2013 conference, Bellmont Partners also conducted media coaching sessions for UPPO leaders and presented a “working with the media” breakout session for more than 60 attendees.
