Last weekend, the 2016 Mpls.St.Paul Magazine ASID MN Showcase Home opened its doors to the public, and Bellmont Partners was on the front lines coordinating media coverage of the latest design trends displayed in the renovated Edina rambler.
The owners of the home – a family with three teenagers – wanted a luxurious yet functional home when they turned over the 1950’s rambler to a team of 24 designers in January, and the result is stunning.
This year’s Showcase home is a great example of how this family found a home in a neighborhood they loved, and were able to renovate it to fit their family’s lifestyle, versus tearing down and building new. Blending a variety of styles, from rustic to European, mixed with a little modern, the talented team of designers were able to create this dream home by starting with a neutral palette they called “greige” and adding beautiful textures and fabrics. This includes the use of Cambria countertops throughout the home that add warmth and luxury to the mudroom, bathrooms, downstairs bar and kitchen. And speaking of the kitchen — one highlight that the media loved was the high-end Miele appliances from Warners’ Stellian that includes a wine fridge that holds more than 100 bottles of wine!
There are a lot of unique design elements to see in this home that homeowners and the media love. So much so, that to date, Bellmont Partners has secured a number of stories that capture the beautiful space, including KARE 11, Star Tribune (don’t miss the photo gallery and video!), WCCO-TV, Twin Cities Live and Fox 9 News.
You can see the home in person Wednesdays through Sundays through June 12. Tickets are available here.
